The dryer was making loud rumbling noise. Have front of dryer apart. Rollers, belt, etc. Appear fine however the motor is loose. On the rear shaft where it goes through a hole you can see where a plastic fitting has been damaged from hitting the opening. Motor shot or something else? Have not opened back of dryer yet.

Hi Jim, Thank you for your question. I would suggest maybe just taking a look at your motor bracket. Take a look to see if maybe it is loose or broken. It may be your motor that is the issue. The part that is broken sounds like your pulley. That might be the reason you are getting the rumbling. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

Originally dryer over heater and tripped the thermal link. Ordered and replaced part. Tripped 2nd thermal. Hardly any air through duct. Cleaned duct. Replaced thermal #3. Min to no air and shut it down. What moves the air...motor, fan? Or could something have it tripped?

Hello Barry, thank you for your question. It is the blower wheel attached to the motor that pulls the air into the dryer, through the lint trap, and out of the vent. There could be a build up of lint inside the dryer impeding the flow of air, or the motor could be failing. Part number PS334304. We hope this helps.

My wash machine started making a clicking sound. It was filling with water, the clothes were washing, the water would drain, and then it wouldn't go to the spin cycle. That's when the clicking started. We unplugged it and plugged it back in and now when you push to start the wash machine it only makes a clicking sound. could this be the motor or the circuit breaker?

Hello Kitty and thank you for writing. It certainly sounds more like a faulty cycling thermostat PS11741405 you should check for signs of damage, and replace it if needed. If this does not fix this problem then your drive motor PS334304 might be faulty. We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime.

Hello Tim, Thank you for contacting us. We have researched the model you have provided and have found the part you are looking for is the Door Switch PartSelect Number PS11741701. If it breaks or is defective, you won't be able to start or stop your drying cycle, depending on the position your switch broke in. The easiest way to test this part for functionality is to test it by hand. Push on the black tab that sticks out of the front panel to make contact with your dryer door; if there is no resistance in the tab and it doesn't make a click sound, you may need to replace it. We hgoe this helps!

Hello Paula, thank you for contacting us. Make sure your dryer vent is not blocked. Blocked ventilation also causes this problem.
