Back burner would not light. Flame under front burner.
Because the stove is over 10 years old the screws were very hard to loosen up and I needed to use WD 40 several times to loosen them, after that it was a snap for a 71-year-old woman.

Flames appeared outside of burners
The front burner had a noticible flame coming from the base, so I originally purchased a single burner to replace it (you could see a corroded hole at the bottom). Upon taking the unit apart, I noticed the corrosion was much worse than met the eye. Given the age of the unit and that some parts were already becoming discontinued I decided to gut the whole thing and replace it all.
The burner unit slides out easily and after unscrewing the sides, you have to disconnect the wires from the underside of the igniters. The venturi tubes and igniters then unscrew from the underside of the burners which twist right out of the assembly. Re-Assembly is very intuitive looking at it and it all goes right back together as it came out. Took 45 minutes total and that includes fighting with some screws that had rusted onto the burner.
Reading some of the previous reviews, current prices are double to triple what other people did the repair for leading me to believe parts won't be available for much longer. Make the repair while you still can!

Gas burner head on stove top rusted out producing blue flame where there shouldn't be
Removed stove top module and unscrewed the bottom panel. Burner head rotated out fairly easily. I ordered both the burner unit and the igniter just to be safe even though the old igniter still worked. I used the other module as a guide to reassemble the unit. The new burner head was little difficult to rotate back in and did not rotate quite as far as the original so the gas pipe was just a fraction out of alignment but there is some flex so it worked out OK when it was re-installed. Everything worked perfectly when I turned on the burner and there are no gas leaks and no blue flames where there shouldn't be!

Gas was escaping from the bottom of the burner causing a big flare up
Mom and Dad are old now and when a repairman quoted them 225.00 to repair their stove top I told them to tell the repairman to take a hike. I found your website very easwy to navigate and ordered the part which cost about 27.00 with shipping. When the part arrived, I just had to use a phillip head screwdriver and repaced the burner in about 15 minutes. It worked GREAT!!. Mom called me over today for some good homade cooking....Thanks Partselect!!!!

We have a jenn air jds9860aap which has two regular gas burners on the right side (jenn air horseshoe burners on left). The rear reg burner appears to be leaking with a small Jet coming our beneath the regular burner head on one side. This appears to me this may become dangerous. I think it should be replaced with wp3403m075 10. I have not replaced these before. Does this burner head come with instructions and will i need a new sparker to go with this or can i reuse the one i have for this burner head ? It appears that the bottom flange of this burner has corroded slightly and is allowing a small gap where gas can pass through and become ignited.

Hi John, Thank you for the question. The Sparker(Top Burner Igniter) Part Number: PS2082000 is sold separate from the burner head but the old one can be reused if still in good condition. We can not guarantee instructions as the parts are all pre packed by the manufacture, but we do have some repair help online and previous customers have left repair stories on what they did to replace the part. Hope this helps!

Hi. The burners are corroded and i cannot turn them to remove.
For model number JGD8348CDP

Hello Jerry and thanks for writing. You need to put some wd 40 oil or similar to let it soak in and then try to remove them with a plier. Be sure TO HAVE ALL FLAMES shut off as the wd40 can burn easily. There is also special; rust removers available that might help your cause. We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime

I have an installation question about the burner head. I took it out to change the igniter which i ordered from you. Now when i put the head back in it is loose. Looking at the other heads its looks like there was some sort of gasket or perhaps some type of putty/sealant that was holding the burner head more firmly in place. I do not see anything like that on the parts diagram. Do you have any suggestions?
For model number JGD8130ADS

Hi Gary, Thank you for your question. Actually there is no sealant or gasket that goes with this part. Everything is part of the head itself. Perhaps try and reinstalling it? If you need more specialized assistance, I would suggest contacting a local technician or the manufacturer directly. Good luck with your repair.
