The piece on my dryer that senses the door is closed has broke. It is a small black piece with a small bend in it located at the top right of the opening to the barrel. It is hinged on the right. The dryer will not start unless I wedge the remaining still-attached piece up in the hole. The piece that broke off is about an inch long. Can you identity the piece so I can order and replace it?

There is a part attached to the door that looks like some kind of cord. It's wrapped around the inside of the door, it began to fray and then came off. Can you find the part for me please? Thank you
