plastic female latch part had broken...door would not stay shut
It was so easy... Pop out the old with flatblade screw driver and insert new piece... Works perfectly and looks better than the velcro strip I was using to hold the door shut...! Thanks for fast delivery and having the part available...

dryer door would not latch
my dryer door didn't latch for over a year. We were accustom to proping large objects against it. a friend told me to look on line. The close up pictures and parts diagrams were awesome. It was here in 4 days . Now my family thinks I am a hero. The end

Top door catch assembly had broken
It was so easy, that my wife did it the day we got the part before I got home from work. She wedged it out with a flat head screw driver and then pushed the new door catch assembly in with her thumb. Pretty simple, thanks for having parts like this available to the public!

Washing machine stopped 1/2 way through cycle
Online repair tips already listed are pretty accurate, however I did have a little difficulty getting the control panel to lift up. I didn't realize that the two screws recessed at the back of the machine needed to be all the way out before it would move. It doesn't swivel or twist as the previous directions said. you have to shove the e
... Read morentire control panel backwards to slip the hooks out of the slots before you can pick it up and move it out of the way. Once you have that lifted you can get to two brass straps that have to pop out of the top of the machine before the back panel and the front housing can separate. Disconnect the plastic connection to the control switch before you attempt to move the housing. After I got that far it was very easy to replace the old switch with the new one. One screw on the grounding wire and one clip holding it in place along the top of the machine and that's it! Once you get the repair done the operation is done in reverse. The only thing you need to be sure and do is to make sure the notches at the bottom of the machine match up to the slots on the housing otherwise the entire housing is very unstable if you try to move the machine, the fill tube doesn't sit correctly, and the tub isn't in the correct position. In that case take it apart again and try to get the slots and notches matched back up,
