needed replacement knobs
My stove is well over 15 years. When I bought my house over 7 years ago the stove was ancient and had only 2 knobs. Well, one of the two fell apart and I could not afford to replace the stove. Lo and behold there was a part number on the back of the knob and I did a goggle search and found an identical replacement. The kind they sell at the store, the adjustable ones, did not work. Anyway, I placed the order during the New Year holiday and I got my knobs in 2 days. Beautiful and shiny and best of all I can use all my burners for the first time ever.Thank you

Knobs were broken so burners could not be turned on.
I simply removed old broken knobs and snapped new ones in place. I have been unable to find another cooktop that I like as well, and now mine works good as new, although it is 30 years old!!!

My stove top is 30 years old. I was down to one knob. I looked up the part by brand and age. the pictures were accurate and the size dimensions were perfect.
Pulled off the one remaining knob, installed the new ones. One minute and the stove works perfectly.

Broken knobs from highly enthusiastic cleaning ladies...
In my perpetual state of optimism, I hoped that the part description was incorrect and that the cost for the knob was actually a cost for a set of knobs. Woe to the consumer who doubts his own eyes! Yes, you will be paying about $25 after s/h for a single knob- but it matches, it works, it fits, and it takes less than 2 seconds to install, so kudos to the manufacturer who knew this would be a good form of supplemental income from their product... I still adore Whirlpool despite their exorbitant pricing on plastic knobs... :)

I have an old Roper range top (4 burners) and an oven. The knobs on the burners has kip 5553 dot / kip 5477. The knob on the stove shows in the back increase/decrease (& says approx 10' per line. I haven't used this stove for years, & now i want to bake a turkey tomorrow for thanksgiving. I need to put the stove on 350'. What position does my knob need to be in, for 350'? There is no markings on my knob. Thanks so much! Alan

Hi Alan, thank you for your question. Unfortunately there are no markings on this knob. It is likely that this is not the correct part. If you would like us to find the correct knob for you, then you will need to resubmit this question with the model number of your appliance. However, if you are unsure what the temperature is inside of your oven, one thing that I could suggest would be to put an oven thermometer inside your oven and measuring the temperature that way. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

The burner control knob is broken. However, it is not just the knob. The stem that the knob fits on is broken off. Can you tell me the part number for the stem or the piece the stem comes out of?
For model number RSK675PXK-1
