Serial #20531938CX To start our dryer we have to pull out on the timer dial and move it left and right or up and down to make a connection. It then runs normally through the cycle. Is this the part we need?

Replaced Dryer Cycling Thermostat
Wow, what an easy job. Once i figured out what to do it took under 30 minutes and very easy. Unfortunately my model must have been between years or something as every instructional video showed that to replace my cycling thermostat, the first step is to take off the back of the dryer and showed the thermostat only accessable from the back. The back of my model does not come off. In addition, the cycling thermostat is in the front of the dryer and not the back. I received the correct part, but to replace, i just needed to remove the front of the dryer and the thermostat was attached to the front of the blower vent/duct.
