Door seal partially torn off. Lint filter worn with holes.
Parts Select made it extremely easy to order parts from their site. Parts came in a timely manner and very reasonable priced. Thanks to Parts Select! Door Seal just needed to be removed and replaced by pushing into little slot openings.

Brooken lint filter and door seal
It was easy - I had my 12yr old daughter do it. The old door seal was completely removed, then you placed the new seal in the apropriate knoches that are on the door of the dryer. The lint filter just had to be placed in the vent. - Done.

Dry was heating intermittently at first and then stopped heating.
I first confirmed that the ingitor was working (because I could see it glow with the lights off at the bottom of dryer). I read within Parts Select that intermittent heating was likely the coils and that I could test their resistance to confirm that this was the problem. I removed the coils (very easy) and thenI checked their resistance with a tester. The resistance on one of them was reading 600 ohms instead of the required 1300 ohms. So I replaced them both and presto it works fine. I also took the opportunity to thoroughly clean out the lint (accessible with the front panel removed) and I replaced the lint filter which was ripped and the gasket around the door which was missing a piece. All very easy to do and parts select made it a cinch. For safety I made sure that the gas and electric were off before I did any of this work. oh, I also levelled the foot which made my wife happy.

Had to align tabs on the seal, which are differently spaced, with the holes in the dryer door.
Pulled the old seal off then pushed the new one in place.

rubber gasket door seal was torn
I pulled the old one off and put the new one on. It took about 3 minutes because I also replaced the old lint filter.

Easy repair, misleading visual
At first, thought the wrong part had been sent. The part didn't look like the picture. Kept playing with it, and realized my part was actually 2 stuck together, looking like one. Zip - pull it apart at the seam, install it easily, and save the unused part for the next time my dryer needs a door seal. Works perfectly.

the only thing that fit were the slots
i oredered with the serial number and the model number for a dryer door sea. the part i got was like a double seal that had no directions. when i installed it the door wouldn't close so i pulled the seal in half and installed the one half inthe door slots and it worked except it bunched up on the corners. i expected the new seal to be the exact same as the one i took off.
