I purchased part number wp2266802 rocker arm switch. Does the switch come out the front? The new switch has metal clips.
For model number KSSS42MDX03

Hi Mark, thank you for your question. Yes it would. We actually do have a helpful piece of information from one of our customers about installation: "Our unit is a built-in unit so first had to remove the decorative cover panel to expose the internal on/off switch. Turned off the circuit breaker. Disconnected the wires (simple pull-off/push-on). Removed the old switch which meant clipping the plastic tabs holding the switch in position. Inserted the new switch by simply pushing it through the opening being sure to have it in the same alignment ('off' to the back of the unit.) Reconnected the wires making sure to have a white ground wires on the left and the black 'hot' wires on the right. Turned the circuit breaker back on. Turned the switch on. Now it runs." Good luck with your repair.

My on-off switch burnt out and the wires are not connected to the switch I need to know where the wires go on the new switch?

Hi Jay,
Thank you for your question. To reconnect the wires make sure to have a white ground wires connected on the left side and the black hot wires on the right side. We hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day.

Does this switch control all power to the unit including control panel? Heard clicking sound. Already replaced capacitor and its adjacent part. Found broken wire in harness. Fixed by electronic guy. Now we have no lights on control panel and no clicking sound, nothing. All house electrical working fine. Does the unit have a reset button somewhere? Help!!
For model number KDDA27TRS00

Hi Jackie, The Power On/Off Switch located behind the base grille does control the control panel. Thank you for your question and good luck with your repair!
