Hi Dai, Thank you for your question. Once a new ice maker is installed, it can take 24 hours before it starts to make ice. Also, if you have just replaced the water filter as well, you may have to flush the water filter for the water to start flowing. To flush a water filter, use the following steps: 1 Use a sturdy container to depress and hold the water dispenser lever for 5 seconds and then release for 5 seconds. 2 Repeat the process until water starts to flow at a steady pass and all the air is out of the water line. You may discard up to 3 gallons of water during this process. After flushing the water system, allow 24 hours for the refrigerator to cool and chill the water. Then, dispense enough water every week to maintain a fresh supply. If you have already done this, check the lines to see if they are clogged and frozen and if they are unthaw them. I hope this helps. Hello David, Thank you for the question. The Front Dispenser Cover will need to be replaced to access this Lever to replace. To remove the front cover of the dispenser assembly, pull out drip tray. At the bottom of the dispenser front there are 2 grooves. Insert a flat blade screwdriver into the left side and pull out on cover. This will pop the left side loose. Then slide the screwdriver under the other side and pop it loose. Lift up on the cover and it will come off. This will expose the Lever and you can remove and replace. We hope this helps!
