I am trying to install part # wp2220458 coupling for my Whirlpool fridge gi7fvcxwy The diagram on line is not very clear is there a better diagram available Thank you Jim
For model number GI7FVCXWY00
Hello Jim, Thank you for your question. To replace the coupling, remove the ice holder (in the freezer door), then use a socket driver to remove both the bolts and cap above the drive shaft. Remove the old coupling from the top of the drive shaft and replace with the new coupling, then reinstall removed parts. We hope this helps.

My icemaker I replace and auger motor replace still wont drop ice out of door i think auger in ice bucket not turning
For model number GSF26C5EXY03
Hi Michael, Thank you for your question. I could also suggest checking your dispenser door motor as well. If that motor is also working, it may be your dispenser control board that is the issue. Not sending the signal to the ice bucket to dispense the ice. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

the icemaker make the noise, but wouldn't produce ice. When we took the ice tray off, we saw that the metal piece that turned the ice crusher was broken.
I used the computer to enter the make and model of the refrigerator with the icemaker unit. We looked at the diagram to identify the name of the part and then ordered it. It was sent out the next day! We received it and installed it and it works perfect!

Upper coupling broken on Ice Bucket Assembly and inner segment and shroud broken on Chute Assembly.
I was disappointed you have to purchase the entire Ice Bucket Assembly in order to get the upper coupling. I also ordered the two seals and washer, only to find they are included in the Chute Assembly. The Chute was a little difficult to remove and reinstall. Other than that the Ice Bucket slides right in and the Chute Assembly requires 2 Phillips screws and 2 hex screws to be removed and reinstalled.

Ice crusher not dispensing crushing ice or dispensing ice cubes
1. Remove the ice box
2. Unscrew the two Phillips screws on the base of the ice box compartment
3. Lift up the coupling and shaft (be careful because there is a spring between shaft and coupling and washer)
4. Remove old coupling
5. Replace with new coupling and remember to put back the spring
6. Insert back shaft with coupling and washer
7. Screw back on the Phillips screws
8. Replace back the icebox
