The part behind the water tube chute in the back wall of the freezer section where the water hose connects so water goes into freezer section from outside back of fridge. It has a compression fitting to take the water hose to the ice maker. I can't get water to pass through this part to enter the water chute. Is there some kind of valve in this part? Or is it just blocked & how do i unblock it or can i replace this part ? I don't see it listed anywhere in the parts list. The ice maker wasn't making ice I replaced the ice maker & the water inlet valve. I get water coming from inlet valve but it does not get int freezer compartment ie into the water chute. When I put water in the ice maker manually it makes ice. Help please

Hi Brian, Thank you for the question. Sounds like a blockage or it might also be damaged. I suggest removing it from the hose to clean it out and check it over to see if there is a crack or it may just need to be tightened out. Hope this helps!

Our ice has a terrible odor. I have replaced the tube from the valve to the ice maker connection on the back of the refrigerator. The water through the water dispenser is clean and fresh. All i can think to do is replace the water filler tube that goes from the connection on the back of the refrigerator and goes into the ice maker cup. However, i can't find one that looks anything like what i have on the back of my refrigerator. The one on your website is held in place by two screws. The unit on the back of my refrigerator has no screws. Do you have a solution and/or a part that might help?

Thank you for your inquiry. If the ice in your refrigerator has an odor you will need to check the water coming into your refrigerator and your water filter to see if this is causing the issue. Sometimes smelly foods can cause the ice in the refrigerator to have an odor as well. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
