2-day part delivery and straight forward installation
We first observed water on the floor, that seemed to originate at the back left corner of the cabinet below the hose connections for the hot and cold water lines. The water would drip down the back wall of the cabinet. There was no water inside the cabinet. I could see water stains on the solenoid valve for the hot water inlet. The OEM part arrived Thursday morning after ordering late on Tuesday - a very pleasant surprise! Installation is straight forward once you understand how to open up the machine. There is a video on the website that shows how to remove the door, the front panel, and then raise the lid. I took pictures with my phone of the original part before removal to help keep track of the wiring and internal hose connection. Once I had the part in hand it only took an hour or so to replace the part and reassemble the cabinet. Be careful reattaching the supply line hoses to the valve - it is possible to cross thread the hose fittings on the soft plastic threads if you are not aligned correctly.

water continued to fill up in the washer when it wasn't being used
I was able to open up the top lid on the washer to gain access to the water inlet valve. I changed it out and now water doesn't continue to fill up the washer when it isn't being used. Problem solved. Great video on how to gain access to the water inlet valve.

I stripped the plastic threads on the old water inlet and so I had to replace it.
Unscrew the screws holding the soap/bleach/fabric softner in place. Unscrew the door hinges.Unscrew the white plastic clips that are to the right of the door. These hold the front of the washer in place. Once these are removed, you can pull the front of the washer away from the door opening. It leans out from the top and you can remove th

Once these screws are removed, you can lift up the top of the washer and lean it back revealing the water inlet valve w/thermister. All the electrical connections are easy clip off/clip on. The washer was stating NF code in the panel. It was not refilling for the rinse cycle. I had to manually press the button.
Turn the washer to the back. Unscrew the upper right corner water inlet valve. Take it out then replace it with new valve. Then turn your washer on and it will work just like brand new !!!!

Had a leak at the top of one of the valve
Ordered the new part from Part Select had very prompt shipment (2 days) printed out someone elses review and followed their steps and it was even easier than they had written so if you get this part simply print the only other "steps" listed because their correct. The only addition i would say is you can use a "nut driver" for the screws

Water would intermittently stop flowing into machine
Unplugged power cord, turned off water and disconnected cold and hot water lines. Removed two screws on bracket at water inlet area on back of washer. removed loose bracket and removed one screw that held water control valve (hot and cold). Unplugged four clipon electrical connections (marked before removal for ease of reconnection)
... Read more Used flat tip screwdriver to remove hose clip from hose that went from valve into machine. Connected four clip on electrical connections and reconnected intake washer hose to water valve. I put a tiny bit of plumbers grease on plastic valve nipple to make it easier to push nipple into rubber hose. Reattached one screw to anchor valve to metal bracket. Repositioned bracket and attached two screws that anchored it to the washer. Reconnected hot and cold water lines and turned on hot and cold water to check for leaks. Plugged in power cord and started a wash cycle to once again check for leaks before pushing machine back into place. Wife didn't think I was "talented" enough to fix the washer, but I proved her wrong.

Hello Doug, Thank you for the question. This is normally an indication the Water Inlet Valve is stuck open allowing water through and drips into the tub. The Valve will need to be replaced. We hope this helps!

When the water is shut off, (to do repair job on line) and then turn back on my washer fills up and overflows. I come home to flooded floors. Does part 30 fix this problem?

When the washer uses the cold water cycle, the water comes in very slow. Hot and warm fill as it's supposed to. My first inclination is the water inlet valve is malfunctioning. Thoughts?

Hi Larry, thank you for your question. That would be the first part to check. It does sound like it is the water inlet valve that is the issue. You can test it with a multi meter to make sure the cold water solenoid is working correctly. The only other things that I could think of would be to check the cold water inlet hose and that the cold water from the home is flowing appropriately. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

When selecting cold or hot wash sometimes instead of cold wash it’s a hot wash and vice versa but not all the time, also it does the rinse in hot instead of cold, not all the time. Can you tell me why please and thank you.

Hello Reno, Thank you for the question. Normally this is an indication the Temperature Switch is faulty and not setting the correct temperatures. Will this part solve the issue of water not entering
the “ softener/bleach dispenser? I’ve replaced the
distribution valve & that did not solve the problem.
