I am wondering why the machine stops working, and why the timer keeps going but the machine does not rinse or spin unless you put it on spin?
For model number LAT9614AAE

Hello Raymond,
Thanks for your question. This may be an issue with the timer itself and it is worth considering replacing it. We would first however advise to check the lid switch check with a multi-meter to see if it has continuity, and replace it if it shows no continuity.
I hope this helps.

Mywasher will only work in the delicate cycle .The regular cycle the agetator doe not work ,however when i go to the delicate cycle everything work like it should . Could it be timer bad.
For model number lat9605aae

Hi William,
Thank you for your question. Yes, if everything is working on one cycle, but not another, the issue is likely the timer and it will need to be replaced. You should also check the lid switch as well because if this part is not working correctly in can cause issues in the washer also. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Washing machine would not go thru wash cycles.
Removed 4 screws on face panel. Popped center out of timer dial, removed clip and spring. Took out two hex screws which freed up the timer mechanism. Pulled out two plugs and installed timer in reverse order, replacing plugs, hex screws and timer dial cap. Replaced front cover on washing machine. Took less than 15 minutes. Dealer wanted $139.00 for the part ( I saved $31.00 purchasing the part from you), $79.00 for the service call and $40.00 labor to install the part. I saved $150.00 by doing it myself. The exploded view picture on your website made it a breeze. Very happy with the result and the savings.

Timer was broken
This was the easiest repair ever. I just removed the top 4 screws to take off the face plate, took off 2 nets that attached the timer to the plate, popped off the wiring--then just did everything in reverse to reconnect. Couldn't have been easier.
