Washer Timer WP22001023

I've got a wonderful appliance repair man and he instructed us to keep our Magtag washer as long as we can. He said these models were made for laundromats and they are just bulletproof. Well the timer finally gave up the ghost and our repair guy couldn't find a replacement, so I started searching and found one at PartSelect. It was a Whirlpool replacement for the original Maytag with all the correct numbers. I purchased the part and made my only mistake, shipping. With my wife without her washer I should have gone for one notch up and gotten the part here faster. It did arrive, took my repair man about 10 minutes to install and has been working perfectly. Appliances are expensive these days and not as reliable as the older (well built) versions. Repair if you can. PartsSelect probably has the parts.
