Agitator stopped working - what part to i replace?
For model number LA5800XMW0
Hi Simon, thank you for your question. There are a number of parts that you should check. First you should check your lid switch. You may also want to check your drive block and your belt to see if either has worn down. If those parts are fine you may want to take a look at your motor capacitor and the motor itself. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

The bolt inside the agitator (under the fabric softener dispenser) keeps coming loose after every single load of laundry. When I take off the white plastic agitator there are no parts inside (like dog ears) so the bolt tightens into the spanner??
Do you know if this model was discontinued because of this problem?
I would appreciate any input on this problem. Thanks

Washer was leaking.. determined it was center gasket
Completely dismantled washer per video , replaced gasket and spanner nut, then re-assembled washer. I’m a 58 year old female. It was tough. Main issue was that video was for dif. Model washer. Had to figure out some things myself.
