My microwave went out. I checked the line fuse and it is good. There were 2 temperature cut outs on the front bottom right of unit. 1 of them is open. I believe it is section 4 part 29 and 31of the parts diagram. Can you help me to be sure i order correct part?
For model number PVM9179DK1BB
Hi Richard, thank you for your question. Parts 29 and 31 are the same part. 29 is the entire assembly including the bracket and the TCO, while part 31 is the TCO itself there. Good luck with your repair.

Ok, a little more research and i believe i need either the tco bottom or the vent thermostat parts 14 and 16. They look the same, but have different part numbers. I checked for continuity and 1 is open. So i am pretty sure that both should at 0 ohms. What do you think?
For model number PVM9179DK1BB
Hi Richard, thank you for your question. They should be reading at 0 ohms to be working correctly. Good luck with your repair.

My microwave smelled like something inside was overheating. I located a cavity thermostat with a 180C limit. Is this the part that I need?
For model number pvm9179sk4ss
Hi Paul, thank you for asking. If your oven is producing a burning smell, we would recommend checking the stirrer fan cover, part number PS12709819, to fix the issue. The cover might be damaged and arcing or burning. If this is the case or if the cover will not stay in place, you may need to replace it with a new one. We hope this helps, good luck with this repair!
