Heater stops working. I run diagnostics and when dishwasher resets, heater works for a few weeks, then stops. Can't get a repair technician to measure resistance and heating circuit, they just jump to "replace the control panel."

My dishwasher will turn on like it going to start but do nothing at all. Sometimes I'll hear the drain pump going and I think hey its working other times I'll hear nothing. I tried cleaning all parts of drain, replaced the diverter, checked the water valve, and replaced the turbity sensor. I also checked to see if the dishwasher was level and checked for leaks. I did the diagnostic mode plenty of times and reset it to clear codes. Now the only code it is showing is 1. The diagnosis light blinks once then stays steady on then shuts off giving me no more codes. The last thing I can think of is the control board needs replacement. Could this be a reason I'm getting in frequent results. Right now I managed to get the dishwasher to work but only because I had the dishwasher unplugged and replugged it in.

Does not drain. Will rinse but stops at the draining portion of the cycle. I replaced the drain pump but that didn’t do anything
For model number KDTM404KPS
Hi Ryan, thank you for contacting us. If the dryer is not draining and you have already replaced the drain pump, first make sure that the drain hose is not clogged. You may also need to make sure the check valve is not stuck closed. If that is not causing the issue, then you may need to check the control board, part number PS12745362, since it controls all the functions of the dishwasher. If this part is faulty, you may need to replace it. We hope this information helps!
The dishes are not drying nor is the dishwasher warm at the end of the cycle. We have checked the thermostat for continuity and it is 0 ohms. We have also checked the heating element and it is at 14 ohms. Would this look like the electronic control board is not telling the heating element to turn on at the right time in the cycle?
For model number KDTE204ESS1
Hello Fern, thank you for reaching out. Based on the description that you have provided, we would recommend checking the control board, part number PS11731272, to fix the issue. It manages the functions of the dishwasher, such as washing, draining and drying. We hope this solves your problem!
