My dishwasher seems to go through an entire cycle but it does not distribute the soap at all.
For model number KDFE104DWH0
Hello Joy, Thank you for the question. If the dispenser is not opening and allowing the soap to dispense it is a indication the motor on the back of the dispenser is defective. The motor is not sold on its own so the dispenser, PartSelect Number PS11773088 will need to be replaced. You can use a multi meter to test the motor and check for continuity. If the motor is good, you may have a defective control board. Hope this helps!
Hello Nick, thank you for your question. There are a few parts you will need to test to determine what the issue is. If the water is not going through the spray arms, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the filter, the turbidity sensor, spray arms (for any debris stuck in the holes) and the diverter motor. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Our doesn't dry the dishes anymore. This problem just occurred in the past few days. Is it likely that the heating element went bad or is there a temperature sensor that has failed? I could not find a senor in the parts lists. Thanks for your assistance.
For model number KDFE104DBL1
Hi David, Thank you for the question. You can try to teat the Thermostat, PartSelect Number PS11750035 for continuity. If the thermostat tests good you will need to replace or test the elements its self. Hope this helps!

My dishwasher doesn't heat the water, it is warm. It doesn't dry the dishes even though it indicates it is drying. After dishwasher cycle is done the sanitized light on the front panel flashes. We rep[laced the heating element and it didn't fix the problem. What is the problem?

Hello Joe, thank you for your question. I would suggest testing the thermostat part number WPW10195091 to see if that is faulty before replacing the board. If the thermostat is testing 0 ohms at room temperature, the part is not bad, and then the board should be replaced. I hope this helps!

New Cntrl board?
For model number jdb9000cwp2
Hello Anthony, thank you for asking! Most of the time an old and weary thermostat (part number: PS11750035) can also cause this problem, so before moving toward the control board check the thermostat for continuity using a multimeter. Please feel free to reach out to customer service for any further assistance.
The control panel is totally unresponsive. Have powered on/off multiple times. Have tried to reset control panel by the button sequence (high temp wash then heated dry 5 or more time) with no luck. Is it the control panel or the cntrl-elec which is bad? One of the lights in the control panel (prowash) is dimly lit. When the power is cycled, the blue "washing" light comes on for a few seconds then goes off. Thanks for the help
For model number KDFE104DBL2
Hi Sanjit,
Thank you for your question. If the control panel is unresponsive, you will need to check both the control panel and the electronic control board to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to test the parts with a multimeter. Here is a link to one of our videos on YouTube that you may reference on how to use one, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bWC44fHn0As. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Does not heat changed element still not heating
For model number KDFE104DSS1
Hi Charles, thank you for your question. You may want to then double check your thermostat to see if that part is working correctly. You may also want to take a look at your wiring as well as perhaps being the issue. If those parts are fine then perhaps you may have to look into your control board being the issue. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.
Detergent door is opening late in the cycle. I think i need a replacement timer, what do you think and what part number is that?
For model number kdfe104dss2
Hello Steve, thank you for your question. The most likely issue is the dispenser itself. There is a wax motor on the back of the dispenser that opens the cover to dispense the soap. This motor can malfunction and delay the opening of the dispenser cover. We would recommend replacing the dispenser itself. Part number W10861000. I hope this helps!

In your first response you mentioned first checking tstat. I just checking and we have continuity.. What next? Thx...
For model number jdb9000cwp2
Hello Anthony, thank you for asking! We would recommend checking the door latches and making sure their sound condition. A damaged latch has the potential to stop the machine mid-cycle. Given that latches are fine, check the connections in the electronic control board using a multimeter to see if any are burnt out. We hope this helps.
