Dryer timer quit turning
Had this problem before with another dryer. Unplugged eletrical from wall first. I removed the back off of the upper portion of the dryer, about 4 screws, removed electrical plugs to timer, removed two screws holding timer. Reversed order

My dryer timer will not advance and when in accuracy sensor mode it will not automatically turn off. Could the timer mechanism be the culprit for both of those? In other words, if i buy the timer unit, could it fix both problems?
For model number WED49STBW1
Hello Jim and thank you for writing.
There could be a problem with both parts, however, it certainly sounds more like it could be a faulty timer PS11728103, you should check for signs of damage, and replace it if necessary and hopefully, it will solve your problem entirely. We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime if you require further assistance.

Have a problem with my dryer. When i do any selection in the timer them i push start buttom, machine dosn't start
Hello Hector, thank you for writing. You will want to consider either the Door Switch, the Thermal Fuse, or the Push Start Switch, but we will need the model number for your dryer to locate the correct replacements. We look forward to hearing back from you.
