Does this lower door handle fit my model of refrigerator? The lower door handle in your diagram looks nothing like the one on my model of refrigerator, but i was told in a previous question that this was the correct part number.

How does the lower screw attach? Does the door casing need to be removed?Is there a link to instructions anywhere?

Hi Sean,
Thank you for your question. On one side of the door handle there are set screws which you would use an Allen wrench to remove them. You do not have to take them completely out, just enough to loosen them to take the handle off. Once off, the screws in the door are regular screws that you would remove with a Phillips head screwdriver. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

If I buy parts # ps11727939 can I switch the gray mounting piece and put it on a s.s. handle, the gray mounting piece should be sold separately because that is the part that breaks bad design

The lower door handle is loose. It probably needs a screw.
