Worked great
Perfect fit, right price. Had it not taken a month to get it I would have given five stars. Website showed two available, but when ordered, and it didn't show up, I called and found it back ordered. And that's after paying extra for fast shipping.

Easy to replace
This board was easy to switch out and as a kit came with everything I needed to replace the board I had. Unfortunately, the real problem was a faulty high temp limit switch cutting the power to the element prematurely. It is a difficult item to diagnose because it was working at low temp and would cut out too soon before the water got hot.

Sent the part back, another part fixed the issue
My GE dishwasher GDF540HGD0BB wasn't heating water or drying dishes. The heating element was good. I narrowed it down to the Float switch or the main board and bought both. Replacing the float switch, which has the thermostat built in, fixed the issue. SO I sent the control board back to PartSelect. The people at PartSelect could not have been more kind and helpful in my diagnosis. I would not hesitate from looking to them first when needing appliance parts.

washer would not turn on - start button light would flash but not turn washer on
The main board is located under the washer in metal box accessed by removal of front plate at bottom. Removal of 2 screws on front of metal box allows board to drop down. However, very cumbersome to work on your back on floor in small space. I took the easy way and slid the washer out of cabinet, then turned washer ( it's light weight) on

No water flows into my dishwasher. I've already replaced the water valve assembly and it didn't help. Is there any other part than the control board you would recommend?
For model number GDF540HMF2ES
Hello Larry,
I am unaware of any other part that could cause this issue. However, I would recommend double checking that there is enough water coming to the dishwasher from the mains. You may also want to check that the internal plumbing of the dishwasher is not clogged.
I hope this helps!

Good morning - my dishwasher started and run for a short while before stopping and going dark. I though possible the circuit breaker but that was fine. There are no lights on the panel and the machine is dark - any idea of cause and fix? I did find some water in the tray under the machine from a small drip leak in the water line connection - could this be related?Thank you and have a great day
For model number GDT580SGF6BB
Hi Don,
Thank you for your question. The issue may be either the electronic control board or the control panel.
You will need to test the parts with a multimeter to see which one is causing the issue. I would also check the door latch and the water inlet valve to make sure they are working correctly as well. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

A followup to my earlier question - i pressed start and select and got an error code 888 - what does that mean? Is it related to the machine going dark?Thank you
For model number GDT580SGF6BB
Hi Don,
Thank you for your question. If the display is showing 888, it means that the control board has shorted. The board may have been exposed to water corrosion over time from some other part inside the dishwasher and it will need to be replaced. If there is water corrosion it will appear as white stains on the board. If you see this, you will need to determine what part is causing this. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

My dishwasher stopped working, it has power. The start button will not light up, other buttons are lite Green. The lock control lights are not on. I tried unplugging and plugging back on but that did not help.
For model number GDT530PSD2SS
Hi Maurice,
Thank you for your question. First I would suggest checking if your child lock is on. Press the start or cancel button for 30 seconds and see if that releases your controls so that you can use your appliance normally. If that does not work, then you may have to look at your control board, and your control panel. Either one of those parts could be causing your issue. Good luck with your repair.

I replaced both main board (part #750) and thermostat (part #499) and I'm still not getting really hot water during the wash cycle nor do the dishes dry. Is there another part that could cause this? I've checked the continuity of the heating coil and it is at 17ohms. Not sure what else to do. Thank you very much!
For model number GDT580SSF0SS
Hi Eric, Thank you for the question. The water in the dishwasher shoudl be at least 120 degrees. If the dishes are not drying, the rinse aid or the rinse aid dispensing cap could be the reason why your dishwasher is not fully drying your dishes. Without the rinse aid, the dishes will not shed water easily and will not dry properly. Hope this helps!

Dishes not cleaning properly, and also not drying. Removed unit, and took heating element out. Tested continuity and registered at 15omh. Hooked 110v to element and heated to 260 f, which g.E. Says is within spec. Ran self diagnostic test on all parameters and nothing shows error, although i'm not sure as to the actual heat because door had to be closed. Water supplied to washer is between 120f-150f. No clogs anywhere, pump performance is good. All signs point to board or wiring problem, only i don't see a wire harness for the rear of this unit available, and i've seen where others have had the same problem and not been fixed by replacing the control board. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
For model number DDT575SSF4SS
Hi Dustin,
Thank you for your question. If the dishwasher is not cleaning properly or drying, and you have already checked the heating element there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the wash arm kit, the filter, the conduit adapter, the seal conduit, the electronic control board, the control panel with touchpad and the wiring connected to the touchpad. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Hello, My GDT580SMF2ES dishwasher will not dry dishes.Heating element was tested and works good.
I've been told I should try to replace the main control board since this model does not have a thermostat. Is that correct?
For model number GDT580SMF2ES
Hello Ruben, Thank you for the question. Yes, the next part to check or replace is the Main Control Board, PartSelect Number PS11721500. Thank you for your inquiry, good luck with this repair!

My dishwasher will not fill with water. I replaced the water supply valve/solenoid and checked to make sure there was no blockage, but it still will not fill. I am not aware of any float or water level switch so i am thinking it may be the main control board. Is there anything else that could be causing my problem?
For model number GDF570

For model number GDF570SGF0BB
Hi Justin,
Thank you for your question. For your dishwasher the flood switch fixes the issue the majority of the time. This is a flood switch assembly for your washer. The flood switch controls the hot and cold water filling your washer tub to ensure the proper amount of water. You may need to replace this part if your washer is overfilling or underfilling with water. It is located in the sump. Here is a link from our website with a parts diagram and a parts list that you may reference to see where it is, https://www.partselect.com/ModelSections.aspx?ModelID=1922168&ModelNum=GDF570SGF0BB&mfgModelNum=&ManufactureID=2&Selected=00139088i05&Position=4&mfg=GE&Type=Dishwasher&Mark=4. The flood switch is number 308 in the diagram. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

GE dishwasher runs continuously in washing step and does not advance to the next cycle. It fills with water ok and just stays in the wash step. If you interrupt the cycle (cancel) it will drain out and stop. If you start again it just fills with water and washes, but not advance.
For model number GDF520PGD2CC
Hi Harold,
Thank you for your question. If the GE washer is running continuously, the issue is likely the electronic control board and it may need to be replaced. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
