My oven temperature issue on a Kenmore 790 48352410 elite wall oven is still having an issue with holding its temp level once it reaches the level it has been programmed to bake or convection bake. After cycling 3 or 4 times the temperature drops about 30 to 35 degrees. I installed a new temp sensor and a controller 11723355 as per your suggestion and it still has the same problem. I've read on line with someone who had the same problem and it was his lower element that was causing the problem. Since this element is hidden and only accessible from the rear to test with a meter, is there any other way to test it to know if its defective without having to pull the oven out?? the oven always reaches its set temperature before pulling back so i can only assume its working. when the oven is heating up its not super hot to touch but at 350 a wet rag will sizzle when placed on the metal above the element.
