This suspension rod kit is a genuine OEM kit specially designed for washing machines. Each kit includes a set of 4 rods, 4 suspension balls and 4 bushings. The suspension rods are responsible for supporting the washer tub and allowing it to move freely during the wash and spin cycles while minimizing vibrations and noise. The suspension rods, balls and bushings may fail over time due to cracks, breaks, or excessive wear. If the suspension rod kit is faulty, you will likely notice excessive vibration or shaking during the spin cycle, loud banging noises, or the washer not balancing properly.

It was relatively easy to repair and problem was fixed
Our washing machine was getting out of balance during the spin cycle to a point that the whole machine will move 2 to 3”
The suspension rods took care of the problem.
Your website is great because it even has a video showing how to install the rods.
Thanks

When washer would go into spin cycle it would shake violently. This also prevented the spin cycle from completing leaving clothes soaked
Followed videos sent with the repair items. It was very easy and solved my issue. My washer did not have the centering springs to begin with so I was unsure if I even needed them. But after replacing all the suspension rods and adding the pack of centering springs this has solved my issues
Suspension rods were worn; washer is 10+ years old
Replaced the suspension rods, suspension rod supports, main drive belt, tub centering springs, water supply hoes, and washer drain hose. Taped new front suspension rods to side of tub to ensure that they did not slide down when raising the washer off its back from the floor. Had a helper lift the tub, which made attaching the new suspensi

IMPORTANT: According to the technician's manual, which was taped to the inside of the washer, it is absolutely necessary to recalibrate the washer after replacing any suspension parts. We did this by following the instructions in the tech manual. Failure to recalibrate a washer could result in poor performance. The procedure is different for each brand or model of washer, but again is absolutely essential after replacing suspension parts of any kind. For some unknown reason, our washer did not have the tub centering springs. Our model should have had the springs.Facing the washer, we attached one to the front left tub housing and one to right rear of the tub housing. Recommend that anyone watch the installation videos for the suspension rods, center springs, and main drive belt before attempting the repairs.
Watched video and followed instructions. Removed rods from top cups, laid washer on its side and pulled them out. Put new rods thru, stood washer up and hooked them in. Was pretty easy, tube heavy but I'm 52 and I did it myself. My only problem is there's no springs anywhere attaching rods to tub and I cannot find any info on 1. IF

The washer was vibrating very bad on large loads
Using the parts I ordered and following the instructions provided in the video from partselect.com made the repair very easy and solved the problem
I do not know much about washer repair and after watching how to replace the suspension rods I decided it was not as difficult as I thought. I replaced the suspension rods and springs and that fixed the problem. The price for parts was reasonable and I received my parts in 2 days.

The washer runs a complete cycle, but makes a clanging noise during the spin cycle. When you push the tub to the side when it is empty, it moves very easily in all directions. Its like the centering anchors or dampers are disconnected or broken. Do these rods control excessive movement of the tub? Do replacement rods solve the problem or are anchors for the rods also needed.
For model number wtw4800xq0
Hi Lee,
Thank you for your inquiry. Yes these suspension rods keep the tub stable and secure while your clothes are washing. This kit has all the parts you need. It has a set of 4 rods, 4 suspension balls and 4 bushings. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

My Amana washer has started shaking, moving, and making a loud noise while it spins. I was told new rods and springs make fix it but i noticed there is also suspension rod supports. Does the suspension rod kit come with all of these (rods, springs, and supports.) or would i need to buy them separately?

Should the tub be very loose
For model number Ntw465oyqo
Hi Elishouzabeth,
Thank you for your question. The tub should be firmly in in place. If it is loose and it is banging, then the shock absorbers may need to be replaced. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Are these rods supposed to be held back with a zip tie? Each four of the rods has a zip tie around it causing each rod to bend in the exact place. It appears as though the rods themselves are straight, not bent. Are the zip ties something put on during shipping that were supposed to be removed but weren't? It looks as though they are intended to maybe be shock absorbers?
Hi David,
Thank you for your question. It actually sounds like they were not removed. The support rods are supposed to be straight and there are usually no zip ties holding them to anything. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

How to remove old suspension rods?
Hello Rick, Thank you for your inquiry. We have found general instructions to give you an idea of the procedure to remove the old rods. Unthread the rear screws securing the main top to the cabinet. Remove the top or lift it up and support it. Lift up on the old suspension rods and rotate the ball supports to detach the support and hook the rear rods onto the support brace. Next remove all of the bushings from the braces. Now lower the main top back down or replace it, as we are now going to have to tip the washer so it rests on its rear panel. You should be now able to slide the old suspension rods out. You need to push on the spring to unhook the rear rods from the brace before you can remove them. Hope this helps!
