I am trying to replace part # w10317255. Do you have instructions on how to do it?
For model number KRSC503ESS00
Hello Jeannie, Thank you for the question. Make sure you unplug the appliance from the power outlet. Remove the Bottom tray first. Next the display control will to need to be removed by using a small flat head screwdriver or putty knife to loosen the locking tabs just above the two slots located at the bottom of the display. This will allow the display to rotate the bottom forward and be removed. The separator will then be able to be lifted and rotated out from the bottom. We hope this helps!

I have had part# w10317255 and #wpw10317261 replaced two times and now i am scheduled for it to be replaced a third time. There are what looks to be scratches along the bottom of the separator and also the front edge of the drip tray. Nothing touches these pieces and this is the third one being replaced with the same problem each time. Are you aware of this problem and if so is there a fix for it so that it doesn't keep happening? Thank you.
Hi Bob,
Thank you for your question. There are no problems that we are aware of. Honestly it just sounds like normal wear and tear on the appliance from what you are describing. The only things that we could suggest is being a bit more careful with glasses in your dispenser area or you could contact your manufacturer directly and see if they have anything else to say about the matter. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.
