My washer is not filling but I hear the water running, afterwards it goes to the wash cycle and does not spin, and then continues through the other cycle and then stop before the complete cycle. Throughout the cycles, the door will unlock, pause then lock and sometimes it freezes once unlocked. What is a possible solution?

My washer goes on. The door locks. Nothing happens then the door unlocks.
For model number GEW450SPKODG
Hi Helena, thank you for getting in touch. If the door locks and unlocks properly but still the washer does not start a cycle, we would recommend checking the control board, part number PS11721802, as it is most likely faulty and may need to be replaced. We hope this sorts out your problem!
My washer goes on. The door locks and engages. It sits for a minute. But no water starts. Then the door unlocks and it shuts off. Last time I used the washer, I washed towels. I went to get them out and they were still wet. I replaced the control board and it still does the same thing. Could the door lock sensor be bad?? Is there a way to reset this washer?
For model number GEW450SPKODG
Hi Helena, thank you for the question. Yes, we would recommend taking a look at the door lock, part number PS11699522, to see if it is working or not. To reset the electronic controls on your washer, shut off the circuit breaker or fuse to the washer or unplug the washer for 2 minutes. We hope this information helps!
