My oven will not lite but i see a glow from oven and i smell gas . Is it the safty valve or the igniter ?

Safety gas valve for bake function not opening at 2.64vac, oven broiler opens at 3vac what is correct operating voltage/current and is a electrical diagram available? I am a electrician with over 40 years experiance

I am replacing our oven safety valve. I need part number 316404901. I bought part number 316031501. Can I still use the part I bought? The prongs sizes are not the same on each side. I needed one with one small prong and a larger prong on each side. The one I bought has two small prongs together on one side and the two larger ones on the opposite side.

Just hooked up this stove and we are smelling gas. How do i find the gas leak?
