If i buy this product could i have someone installed it for me
For model number 5712461299
Hi Eiman,
Thank you for your question. If you you would like to have a technician install the cooktop, you will need to check locally as we are only a parts distributor and we do not send technicians out to install parts. If you would like to install the part yourself, here are some instructions that you may reference, "Before you begin any repair please turn the power supply off at the junction box. Unthread the screws securing the junction box cover and remove the junction box cover. Untwist the wire nuts to disconnect the power grounding wires. Loosen the conduit connector screw or screws, then remove the conduit cable from the junction box. Next use a Phillips head screw driver to remove the clamping screws from the clamping brackets. Use a quarter inch socket or nut driver to loosen the adjustment screws securing the clamping brackets. Rotate the brackets inwards and tighten the screws. You can lift the cooktop out of the cut-out in the counter and place it on a sturdy surface. Using a Phillips head screw driver or a quarter inch nut driver, remove the screws securing the glass panel to the cooktop. Then carefully lift the old top off. Before installing the new glasstop, make sure the elements are in the proper positions. Align the glasstop on the base and then secure it with the screws. With the glass now installed, you will need to lay it upside down on a padded surface because you will need to new protective foam strips on the underside of the top on all sides. Once completed, realign the cooktop in the counter and reposition it. Follow the remaining steps in reverse. Restore power to the cooktop and everything should now work for you." I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
