Oven Door Light Switch 316445501

Hi Linda, Thank you for your question. Before starting any repair be sure to unplug your appliance from the outlet. To get to your light switch to replace it, first you will have to open the door of your oven. Getting down on the floor, you will see two or three screws on the underside of your cooktop. You will have to remove those screws. Then close your oven door. You will now be able to lift up the cooktop. You may need two people for this. One person to hold up the cook top while you replace the switch. The switch will be located on the top left hand corner. To remove the part you just depress the tabs on either side and pull it out. Follow these steps in reverse to put your appliance back together. Good luck with your repair.
