This container seal is supplied by the origina equipment manufcaturer for use in paint sprayers. It is a 3.25-inch-wide gasket, made of thick foam that seals the area between the paint container and the sprayer gun. This prevents paint from leaking, and air from entering during operation to allow the paint to flow consistently. for even application. If the seal wears down, or becomes deformed, it will be unable to adequately seal the connection point leading to uneven spray patterns, poor paint delivery, and paint leakages. Disconnect the spray container from the unit and peel the seal off. Clean the mounting surface thoroughly to ensure a good fit for the new seal. Position the seal on the paint container and press into place. Reattach the container and sprayer gun to complete the repair.
