Compactor does not compact when floor level foot lever is depressed. Upon inspection the metal rectangular shaped part that depresses the white button that activates the movement of the compactor has broken. This part is attached to the foot lever with two phillips head screws. I need to purchase a replacement part. Please provide part number and price for replacement. Dcmombell@gmail.Com thanks!

Thank you for your question. If your trash compactor is not compacting, then There are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue.
