Hi Carol, Thank you for your question. Your washer may be in a control lockout. Here is some information that may help you. To lock the washer you will need to press and hold the DELAY START button for 3 seconds. To unlock the washer controls, press and hold the DELAY START button for 3 seconds. The control lock icon on the display will light up when the washer is on, but the power button can still be used when the machine is locked. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
