Appeared the fan condensor motor had went out. Then the display seem to only work part of the time. It was the main board!
Always unplug your appliance for safety reasons first. Remove the 4 screws on the Main panel cover. It is about 6" X 8". Mine was on the left hand side as you face the BACK of the refridgerator. Follow the instructions that come with the part for your appliance. Ours has 4 plastic pop tabs, be very careful not to break these. With a pair
... Read more of pliers, squeeze the tabs together and carefully pull each corner foward. Replace the new board and put all of the plugs back in the correct places. Put the cover back on and replace the screws. Plug your appliance back in. Not a bad repair. It was just the problem of the several different issues including the refridgerator not cooling. Our freezer was still very cold and would make ice. The first thing we had was a condenser fan motor. This fan is ran by the main board. Then the display in the fridge didn't work all of the time. Finally it was not cooling properly. As we were replacing the main board, we noticed a few variances in the two. It appears to have some different transistors and some have been added. It is my opinion that this was a factory default part.

When the refrigerator door is opened, sometimes the temperature readout will go blank after a second and the door open beep will start without delay. Sometimes the beep will start a minute or two after the refrigerator door is closed. Sometimes everything works the way it should. The door switch is functioning properly as the light always comes on when the door is open and goes out when the door switch is pushed in. The door switch was replaced after this problem started. There is some intermittent fault in the circuitry that displays the temperature and controls the door open beep. Is this a replaceable circuit, and where is it located? Other than this the refrigerator is operating properly.

Hello, the temperature display no longer illuminates and neither the fridge nor the freezer cool. I've replaced the display control board (wr55x10522), however the problem persists. The new display flashed on and off once but that's it. Any suggestions what i can try next? Thanks.

A few seconds after we set the fridge temperature to 37, it changes to 73 or 78. This happened 2 days ago where the temperature in the fridge actually climbed to 78 and the food got warm. So, we unplugged the fride for few minutes and plugged it back in, same results. However, the next day we wanted to empty the food into another fridge, we noticed that the temperature went down to 37. Could the display control board WR55X10522 be responsible for this? Thank you.

Hello Bechara, thank you for your inquiry. Based on your description, it seems like the refrigerator's temperature setting is malfunctioning. Initially setting the fridge to 37 degrees, it immediately reverts to 73 or 78 degrees, indicating a faulty temperature sensor. We would recommend checking the temperature sensor, part number PS304103, to solve the problem. We hope this helps!
The fridge temperature control does not stay on the desire temperature set. It stays on the ambiant temp even though you choose one and never reach the set level. It stays at 57 for example and never reach the setting. What do i do to have it work properly again. Is it a sign the temperature control is not working or other.. how much is the temperature control button?

Hello Herby, thank you for inquiring. Replacing the Temperature Sensor part number PS304103 or the Electronic Board part number PS12069099 for your model will most likely fix the issue. The prices are listed in the part descriptions. I hope this helps and good luck with your repair!
