This part is connected to the rear bulkhead of the dryer with screws. It provides a way of connecting individual electrical wires and offers protection of the device from electrical surges (voltages and/or currents).

Easy repair good price
Good quality. Fast shipping. Repair was easy my 6 yr old daughter helped out. The original block melted and came loose touching the wires to the body of the dryer. I bought a few items from this site while I had the dryer apart. Everything fits good.

easy to install
Ok, this part is what it is, it’s very easy to install, anybody can do, it takes all but 5 minutes to do, 99.9% of the time it will never need to be replaced. My biggest complaint is shipping, over $7.00 to ship the part, and it still took 9 days to reach me, it would have been faster with pony express. This seems to be the norm for Part Select, which is bad, because when you order something like this, you need it ASAP.

Original terminal grounding block melted for unknown reason.
Unscrewed the old, screwed in the new making sure wires matched up same as before. Reset my breaker and works like new again.

Dryer not heating. When moving it away from wall it was sparking badly where the cord hooks up.
Removed case parts to expose internal wiring. Vacuumed up various types of mouse debris and plugged hole they were using. Ordered terminal block to replace the one that melted while sparks were flying. Replaced power cord with one I had in my basement from some other appliance that died a while ago. "Hey honey, ya know those old parts I s

The dryer will not start with door opening to the left. Reversing door and dryer will work. Do the 4 screws that i can see on dryer front allow front panel to come off to replace door switch to allow door opening to left. What is this contact switch called? Thanks
For model number gtd42easj2ww
Hello Jim, Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, the front panel will come off and the door switch is part# WE10X23879. Although we do not have a repair video for this exact part number, I have included a link to a similar GE model to show you how to remove the front panel and replace the switch.

I have no life in the dryer once plugged in, no lights on control panel it acts like it is not even plugged in. I have verified power source and checked continuity on all fuses at the power block any suggestions as to where to start
For model number GFDN120ED1WW
Hi Mike, Thank you for the question. This sounds like an issues with the control board. I suggest checking to make sure the wire harness is fully secure on the board. You can also test the terminal block for the power cord. Hope this helps!

My 2 year old GE dryer has power at the plug and power all the way to the machine but will not cut on. I have no lights or anything. Working one day not the next.
For model number GTD65EBSJ3WS
Hi John, thank you for your question. Looking at your model information there are a few parts that you should take out and test to see which one is giving you the issue. The first parts to check in this case would be all of your thermostats and thermal fuses. You can test those parts with a multi meter and they should be reading 0 ohms to be working correctly. If those parts are fine, you should then go on to testing your heating element as well. You can also test that with a multi meter and it should be reading between 0 - 50 ohms. Something else you should also check would be your filter and ducts. Make sure there is absolutely no blockage that would restrict air flow in your appliance. If all of those parts are fine then the issue might actually be in your control board itself. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.
