The dryer drum tumbler won't turn off after drying cycle; it will turn off when the door is opened; I have checked the moisture sensor and is ok; will this be fixed with a new control board?

Hello Allen, Thank you for the question. We suggest doing a Hard reset. Perform hard reset. Unplug the dryer. While the dryer is unplugged, PRESS and HOLD the POWER/START button for 5 seconds, then hold down the PLAY/PAUSE button for 5 seconds. We hope this helps!

Hi, the dryer stopped while it was running, the display is off, the only thing that works is the light inside, the power button does nothing. the power is checked, and I tried the hard reset too.

Hello Eric, thank you for your question. This thermal fuse PS3530485 acts as a high-limit thermostat, and shuts off the heating element when the dryer overheats by cutting off power to the dryer. If the thermal fuse has blown, the dryer will not start. We hope this helps.
My dryer does not turn on. Checked the breaker and the outlet and nothing wrong there. When I open the door, the tub light turns on which means the dryer is getting power. The power button and all other buttons on the control panel don't do anything. I think that the EBR76542923 LG Dryer Control Board PCB Main Assembly needs replacing, what do you think?

Hi Chris, thank you for reaching out. Yes, the issue is most probably because of the fault in the main PCB assembly, part number PS10065064. It manages the functions of the dryer, such as drying time and temperature. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
