The digital readout keeps going back to hi for the refrigerator side. The refrigerator will not cool down. We turn it up to 4 or 5 or 6 and within a short time the beeper goes off and when you open up the door the setting has gone back to 1 and hi. The freezer side works fine? Do i need a new board?
For model number FFHS2611PFEA
Hello Dan, thank you for inquiring. You will want to consider this as either a faulty Evaporator Fan Motor, part number PS12728811, or Defrost Heater, part number PS2581596 for your model. Good luck with your repair!

My freezer is over freezing everything and the refrigerator is barely keeping cold, as well as doing 3 beeps about every 20 seconds or so. I pulled off the back panel and the coil has a lot of ice on it. Should i change the defrost control board?
For model number FFHS2311PFBA
Hello CJ, thank you for inquiring. This sounds like the Defrost Thermostat Kit part PS469522 for your model is faulty. We hope this helps.

My freezer and fridge will not get cool it is doing the five beeps as if the door is open and the freezer side is flashing high? Is it the control? or door switch?
For model number FFSS2614QS4A
Hi Corinne, thank you for your question. When you are having temperature problems in your appliance, there are a few parts that could cause the issue. You can use a multi meter to test most of the parts. Make sure you cut power to your appliance before doing any repairs or tests. First you should test your defrost thermostat. Place the thermostat in ice cold water for 2-3 minutes after removing it from your appliance. It should be reading 0 ohms to be working correctly. Another part to check would be your defrost heater. Remove it from the appliance. It should be reading anywhere between 0 - 50 ohms to be working. You could check your temperature sensor. To find the correct reading for this part you will have to refer to your tech sheet that comes with your appliance. You can usually find this tech sheet behind the bottom grille of your fridge on either the right or left side. These are the most common parts that cause this issue in your appliance. So it is suggested you check them first. Good luck with your repair.

Refrigerator turned to coldest setting.Temp fluctuates between 37 and43 degrees changed defrost thermostat that was not the problem.Should i try the control board next?
For model number FFHS2611LBK
Hi Ed,
Thank you for your question. If the temperature is fluctuating in the refrigerator, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which ones are causing the issue. You will need to check the run capacitor, the defrost heater, the sensor, the gaskets and the electronic control board. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

My fridge is freezing everything and also the freezer is stuck on 9 on the temperature control. The up arrow will beep, but the down arrow won't do anything. Could this be what's causing the fridge to freeze?
For model number FFHS2611LBNA
Hello Shana, Thank you for the question. Yes, the most commonly replaced part would be the control board, PartSelect Number PS10060580. This board controls the temperature. Thank you for your inquiry, good luck with this repair!

I was getting the h1 code and my freezer was not defrosting. Replaced the thermostat in the freezer and the freezer now is working fine but still getting the h1 and frig does to seem to be cooling. What could be causing this
For model number Ffhs2611lwja
Hello Michael, thank you for getting in touch. The H1 error code usually means that the freezer sensor has shorted. As you have already replaced the freezer sensor, the issue seems to be with the control board, part number PS10060580. Replacing the control board may solve your problem. We hope this information helps!

The refrigerator temperatures are dropping to below freezing (25-30 degrees Fahrenheit). The lowest temperatures are on the top shelf. Do you have any suggestions?
For model number FFSS2614QS
Hello Jim,
Thanks for your question. This could be due to a faulty temperature sensor. You may wish to test the part with a multimeter for electrical continuity, and replace it if it shows no continuity. Check the door gasket as well for any signs of wear and tear, as that may trigger the thermostat to operate at cold temperatures.
I hope this helps.
If i set. Both refrigerator and freezer at five and a little while longer it will drop down to one on its own does not matter what number i set it out what would be the problem

Evaporator coil and fan frozen; fault code HI
The fault code HI or H1 would periodically appear. Evap coil and fan would freeze over. I replaced evap fan motor, run capacitor, defrost thermostat, and temp sensor with no luck. I know Evap heater worked because I burnt my fingers on it. I noticed when I tapped on the front of the control panel to reset the fault, the evap fan would turn on. I assume the relay in the control board was intermittently faulty. I replaced the board and my fridge is good to go, finally.

Double door. Refrigerator control panel displayed HI [temp 55*f or higher]
I bought and replaced the control board as suggested. It didn't help. It was suggested that it was the Damper [lets cold air from the freezer into the refrigerator side]. I bought a new Damper unit. It didn't help. It was suggested that I replace the temp sensor[s]. I replaced them both, and the HI alert disappeared, but it did not help with cooling the refrigerator. I gave up after spending $400 on parts with no solution; I bought a new double-door refrigerator. Note .... None of these parts come with any instructions. You have to watch youtube.

Not working as expected
The part was defective. I didn't know that the off/on switch wasn't working until yesterday when I shut off the fridge and 2 hours later tried to turn it back on but with several attempts It was unable to get it started. I need to return the part ASAP.
