Can i remove temp sensor from inside the oven without having to remove the oven from the wall?
For model number HBL5451UC?02
Hi Tony,
Thank you for your question. There is a video on our website that you can reference on how to install the oven sensor. The oven in the video may not show exactly like the one you have, but it will give you a general idea on how to install the part. You will find the video under part number PS1528543. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

We bought a house with this Bosch double oven in it. Not sure how old it is, but my wife is unhappy about fluctuations in temperature. I was thinking maybe of replacing the upper and lower temperature probes. Two questions:1. are the upper and lower probes the same part number?
2. do you think this might help (i don't know what else would be the problem.
3. can you tell me when this model was first released so i can get a sense of how old the unit might be?
thanks.

For model number HBN5651UC/02
Hello Tom, thank you for your question. The upper and lower oven temperature sensors are the same, PartSelect number PS8729847. We believe that replacing these sensors may solve the issues you are experiencing. Unfortunately, we do not know the manufacturing date of this appliance, you will have to reach out to the manufacturer directly to obtain that information. We hope this helps.
