I purchased Part # 5304497345 to replace the thermostat in my Frigidaire all fridge refrigerator. It replaces part # 216807800. My question is where do the three wires fit on the new part as the connecting spades are in a different configuration in the new part. Thank you
Hello Colin, Thank you for the question. Next each terminal there should be a number, here is how the unit should wire up, number 6 terminal should be black wire, number 4 terminal will be blue wire and the red will go to terminal number 3. We hope this helps!

Installed a new thermostat switch freezer does not cool down to desired temperature
For model number 25360721008
Hello Ray, Thank you for your inquiry. You can test the thermostat switch with a multimeter to see if it is causing the issue, but we also recommend checking the defrost thermostat, the defrost timer and the defrost heater. You can test the parts with a multimeter. If you are unfamiliar with how a multimeter functions, we have videos available to assist you. Good Luck with your repair.
I have a fridge-only model. It was working ok. We moved it from one room to an adjacent room at 55 degrees F. After plugging in and turning on, it didn't cool. Unplugged for few days, turned back on and now the temperature is down to 0 degrees F, compressor is hot, and doesn't turn off. What should I check?
For model number 253.60722000
Hello Ily, Thank you for the question. This could be caused by a faulty Defrost Thermostat. We suggest testing the Thermostat with a multimeter. The best way to do this is to remove the thermostat from the refrigerator so you can control the temperature of the sensor. You can let the sensor warm up to room temperature. With the sensor warmed up to room temperature the sensor should read approximately 6.2K Ohms at 68°F. With the thermistor submerged is a glass full of ice water, the sensor should be very close to 32°F which should read approximately 16.3K Ohms. If the values that you are getting are far off from these readings, then the sensor is bad and should be replaced. If you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!

Refrigerator would not get cold or would freeze everything, no control
unplugged and removed the inside panel where the control switch was located. Unplugged the switch and replaced it with the new switch and put everything back together and plugged the refrigerator back in and set the control. Refrigerator is working likes it's new again.
