Do I need any other parts to replace the door boot seal besides the seal itself? Replacing because it is moldy. Is there anything else i should replace to help alleviate existing mold issues?
For model number 417.41122410
Hello Brianna, Thank you for the question. You can reuse the springs that hold the gasket Part Number: PS975792 and Part Number: PS1146211, but if they are damaged or wore out you can replace them. It is suggested to leave the door open a bit to let the gasket dry after use to avoid the mold or keep a rag handy to dry after use. Hope this helps!

You may find others on YouTube .The parts are PS10057189 for the Bellow, PS975792 for the Door Boot Spring and PS1146211 Spring Held Bellow Clamp. Here is a link for a home made cleaning solution for the bellow in case you will want to try this instead. https://www.architecturaldigest.com/story/how-to-clean-washing-machine-with-vinegar . Will replacing the bellows, solve my issue of small items (socks, undies, etc.) getting hung up between the bellows and front edge of the tub.
For model number 417.41122410
Hello Jimmy, thank you for your query. Based on our understanding of the issue, we would suggest replacing the bellow, part number PS10057189, to solve the problem. It forms a seal between the washtub and the door. We hope this sorts out your problem!
