Makes too much ice. The bin overflows.
For model number ZDIS150WSSC
Hello Tom, Thank you for the question. We suggest checking the Ice Control Thermistor. Make sure it was not displaced and can detect when the bin is full. It can also be tested with a Multimeter. If the thermistor shows open, then it will need to be replaced. We hope this helps!

I loosened the compression nut on the valve with my fingers and pulled the water line free from the valve. On the other end, I just pulled it from the hose clamp. Installation in reverse. ice maker pump and water line leaking
I replaced both the punp and water line. the website depicting the repair parts was the best i ever worked with. The parts were high quality delivered on time and easy to install. Total job cost $30 as opposed the cost of of a service man or a new refrig.

Failure to make ice
Unit was failing to make ice as a result of cutting grid fail (broken cutting wire disrupted circuit so no heating) and corresponding ice build up on cooling plate. Defective cutting grid swapped out - replacement part had superior design to OEM and was made of comparable to superior materials. Very satisfied.
