I had pulled out the dishwasher. Pump was on the bottom. One screw and a clamp, pump was off. It went back together with ease. I am women. read more

I chose to take the GE Profile SS dishwasher out on the porch for additional room to remove the bad drain pump. I ordered the wrong pump and while waiting a week for the replacement, the new great pyrenees puppy chewed the insulating blanket up. No worries I could tape it back together.
