Originally we thought that the filter cup o-ring was damaged when the filter cup froze. After further disassembly, we discovered that the housing had cracked. Within 15 minutes after the parts arrived, I installed the new housing and filter cup (only three machine screws held it in place), connected the water lines and turned on the water. After bleeding air out of the system, both the water dispnser worked fine, and ice cubes started forming in the ice maker.

I was worried that the support was a permanent fixture in the refrigerator wall. But I pried it out and replaced it with the new part. Holes were exactly the same size so the new part easily replaced the old one.
