Triple Water Valve Specifications

This triple water inlet valve is a genuine OEM replacement part for your washing machine. This inlet valve helps fill the washer with water during the wash cycle. If the machine is not filling or taking too long to fill, the inlet valve may need to be replaced. If you are not sure if the inlet valve is faulty, you can test it for continuity using a multimeter.

Water dripping into the washer tub constantly
Unplug the washer. Turn off water supply. Disconnect hoses and have a bucket to catch the water standing in the hoses. Unscrew the 4 screws on the top of the control panel (my model had torx head screws). Flip down the control panel. Unplug the triple water valve. Disconnect the hose clamp from the water valve. Unscrew the water valve using a 1/4" nut driver. Replace with the new valve in reverse order. If your washer is older I would recommend also purchasing the hose & water inlet (number 803 on the diagram) I was afraid that mine would crack when I removed it. It was a very easy repair and I am happy that I did not have to pay a repairman to fix thia problem.

Turn the washer around and take off top back plate behind the controls. Fold controls forward out of the way. Disconnect electrical connection on triple valve by lifting holding clip slightly and pulling out plug. Remove clamp from hose at valve and pull off hose. Remove two screws and replace valve. Install new valve in reverse order.

The water is dripping inside the tube even when machine is not working and over time fills the tube then when using the washer, it doesn't properly dry the cloths. The cloths are still soaked with water.

Hello Frank, thank you for your question. If the water is dripping into the unit continuously, the water valve must not be shutting completely and should be replaced. The part number is PartSelect Number: PS1022476. I hope this helps!
