Element had died and didn't work
Made sure the oven circuit breaker was off on the electrical panel in the garage then simply removed the two screws on the oven wall and pulled out the old element a couple inches. I then pulled off the connectors. Simply reinstalled the connectors on the new element, pushed it back in and replaced the two screws. After I turned the circuit breaker back on, I turned the oven to 300 to make sure it was working it's all good.

Bake Element burned out
First, I shut off the electricity at the panel. Then I took out the 2 screws that hold the bake element at the back of the oven. Next, I separated the element from the wires and connected the new bake element and put the screws back in. Finally I turned the power back on to the oven and tested it. It worked perfectly! It all cost under $30 to do...it would have cost more than $100 to have a repair man come do it for me. The part came quickly and was packaged very carefully. Thank you!

Element burned out
I shut of the power at the circuit box. I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. Then pulled the old element out, and disconnected the two wires. I reattched the new unit. The most difficult part of the job was finding the correct size tool on my messy work bench.

element burnt out/ broke
This repair was SO much easier than I had imagined, much to my delight!
The scariest part was feeling secure that I had actually cut all power to the Range itself....I wasn't convinced that my breaker box had been labeled correctly by the man who did the remodel on my house!
Once I did determine that i wasn't going to be fried I correctly replaced the element and tested my handywork...all was good!
partselect.com was a HUGE help from beginning (finding and ordering the part itself) to end...I couldn't have asked for a smoother, more convenient and cost effective way to solve my repair problem!

Element started to fiz & Spark X-Mass Day.
Pulled oven out, unplugged it, took off the back panel, undid the bolts that held the element in place, unhooked the old element and replaced it with new one. That was easy, considering we were ready to buy a new range.

Thank you

The element caught fire while baking.
The very first thing I did was turn off the power at the breaker box. Then, I removed the baking racks. Next, I remove the two screws holding the element in place and pulled the element out about 3-4 inches. Disconnecting the wires was simple because all I had to do was slide them off the old element & push them on to the new one. Once that was done, I replaced the screws to hold the new element in place, turned the power back on and tried the oven. Perfect. I am so happy I was able to do this repair myself, and the only cost was the element.

oven wouldn't heat
I just turned off the breaker, took two screws out and pulled out the element, and unplugged the two wires. Then I installed it in reverse order. It was that easy. I don't think that it even took 5 minutes.

The heating element burned in half.
I removed the damaged element by removing the two screws holding it against the back wall of the oven. I pulled the old element out to expose the wires on each end. I pulled the wires off the old element and removed it. Plugged the wires onto he new element, and slid the wires back through the holes. Re-installed using the same screws. Done.
