Loud squeaky noise
My dryer was making a horrible squeaking noise comparable to nails on a chalkboard! I looked to get a similar used replacement because I was in a bit of a pinch for $$$, after being frustrated and not finding anything I came here and found all the parts I needed for my repair for UNDER $40!!!! I followed the super easy how to video that was provided on this website. This is the second repair I have made to this dryer, I did the heating element about a year ago. I also used this site to purchase the part and used the how to video associated with that repair. I was very surprised that I received the part the next day when I paid for regular standard shipping! Overall this was a an awesome experience and I have saved so much money repairing my dryer on my own vice paying someone to do it!!!

Loud screeching noise, barrel turned OK and Heater worked
I took the lower back panel off. Loosened the center bolt and took off the old Idler pulley. It looked brown in the middle and didn't roll well. But I wasn't sure if that was it, because the noise was so loud and sounded metal on metal. So I checked everything and vacuumed everything. After I got the new part it took me about 5 minutes to put the new one on. And dryer works fine. Thanks for the quick response and I saved about $200.00!

My dryers was making a loud thumping sound. Like it was off balance.
I Took the front off and saw the cushion was gone around the drum and glids were worn down. I ordered both parts . It took 5 minutes to glue the cushion back on around the drum and 2 minutes to snap the drum glids on.But what I couldnt believe was the amount of lint that was all over the inside of the dryer.I would suggest to anyone to take the dryer front off once a year and clean it all out . I now understand fully why there are dryer fires. But the fix was cake and it runs like new.

There were several pieces broken around the band and as the drum turned, clothes would catch the cuts and slice right though like a razor blade
Take the top off the dryer. Once it's off, start inserting the bands from the inside. From the top or inside, control and move the drum as needed to insert band in place. Once band is in place, and holes line up, press down till you hear it snap in place. Repeat process with second band.

Banging coming from the dryer with light loads or when clothes we close to being dried
1. Use flat blade to compress clips so top could be raised. Use Philips to remove 2 screws holding front on. Popped front off and then removed old worn and broken glides. Had to lift the drum slightly when placing the front back on. Screwed in the 2 screws to hold the front on. Lowered and locked top. Be careful not to pinch any wires..
