Dryer keeps running without drying clothes
The first thing I did was unplug dryer from outlet. Watched installation video (very hepfull), the back was removed and dryer unpluged because I had replaced Thermal Cut-Off Kit, High Limit Thermostst and Cycling Thermostst ordered two days earlier. Forgetful as I am I did not check Heating Element with ohm meater, It was bad, ordered new one. It arrived as promised and was correct part. Removed two screws holding heating element in place. Removed four wires one at a time, placing them in correct place on new element. Replaced element and two screws. Job complete. Pluged it in and dryer is working like a new one.

Dryer wouldn't start
After doing on line research at other sites, I bought an inexpensive multimeter, took off the back of the dryer, and started trying to figure out what part wasn't working. I might as well have tried to diagnose a jet engine problem, I didn't have a clue. Then I went to the Part Select site, and their stats showed that in 50% or so of the cases where a Roper doesn't start, you need a thermal fuse, and should also replace the cycling thermostat while you're at it. The "how-to" video showed me exactly what the parts look like, and where they are in the machine, and the cost of the parts plus delivery was less than $50!! It was worth taking the chance for $50. The parts came in two days, were installed in five minutes, the dryer works and I'm thrilled! Part Select is the absolute best. This is the first appliance repair I've ever done. I would never have done it without you. Thank you.

Broken Door Catch
The Door Catch Kit had clear instructions for installation and included multiple replacement catches to fit several different sizes/varieties of dryers. I used a screwdriver to pry out the broken door catch, popped in the replacement, and was done! As usual, PartSelect had what I needed at a good price, with clear instructions for any needed installation. Fast shipping, too.

Unit wouldn't dry clothes
Computer said only two things were probably wrong, heating unit or fuse. My son unpluged the unit, opened the back looked around and saw the burned, broken wire in the heating unit. Orderd part, deliverd in a few days (Issac inteferred) put in the new heating unit, replaced the back, closed the unit, plugged the dryer into the eltricity, pressed the start button and there was heat. Very easy repair and a lot more reasonable then calling a service man.

Dryer would not heat
I followed the video link on the website step by step - that was much more helpful than reading the included instructions which seemed a little obscure for this layman. I thought for sure i would have to drop another $500 on a new dryer after buying my last one less than FOUR years ago! Ended up spending $40 including shipping which was super fast.I am now a dedicated fan of partselect and I know exactly where to go when my next appliance breaks..which they seem to do way too quickly now days.

No heat
The thermal cutoff kit was bad. I followed the instructions in the video on the website to repair the dryer. According to some extra research that I did, the heating element is protected by the thermal cut off kit so there is a greater chance that the thermal kit will need to be replaced before the element will. There is a chance that the element could go bad, but more than likely it ise thermal cutoff kit.

Dryer spinning but not heating
I had removed the heating coil prior to ordering the new part. It was one of the easiest repairs I have ever done. I just popped of the part I needed from the old heating coil. Put it on the new coil and popped the new part in. Put all the wires back on and it runs like new. I had cleaned all my vents out before starting. Very important to do this for fire safety reasons. My 16 year old dryer runs like new. My clothes are getting dry so much faster than they were before the coil went bad.

No heat on dryer
The video instruction is very self explanatory and the components are very few. All I need is to take pictures with my phone to make sure the position of the wiring and location of the thermostat. Glad that I found this website.

Dryer was not heating up
I searched the symptoms on the PartSelect Website, decided to go with the recommended solution. Watched the video for replacing the suggested parts. Since I had already replaced the Blower Wheel and Motor on the dryer in the past I was familiar with removing what was required. The actual parts replacement was simple, and the result was a dryer that was operating properly once again. Thanks.
