I have a Maytag bravos xl top load washer. It is 5 years old and is now extremely noisy. It also looks like oil/grease has been thrown out from underneath the washer. It also takes forever to complete a load because error message is unbalanced load. I believe it is the bearings but would like your opinion and the correct bearings to order. Thank you, brenda
For model number MVWB750YW0
Hello Brenda, thank you for your question. The unbalanced load issue would be caused by the sensor PartSelect Number: PS11749664. The grease/oil is probably coming from the rotor/stator under the tub which are PartSelect Number: PS11754517 and PartSelect Number: PS993018. I hope this helps!

Washer is going through all the steps of a normal wash cycle till 14 minutes to complete, we get an unbalanced load warning. Clearly not unbalanced, we move the clothes around and it still results in an unbalanced load message. I'm assuming I need to replace some items, but what? Please advise.
For model number MVWB750YW0
Hello Mark, Thank you for the question. This could be an indication the rotary position sensor is defective and may need to be replaced. It helps to ensure the load of clothing stays balanced during the wash cycle. We hope this helps!

Keeps saying ul and runs fine until you get to the rinse cycle then it shuts off and doesn't spin out the water
For model number MVWB750YW0
Hello and thank you for writing.
If uL (unbalanced load) appears in the display, the load is out of balance. The washer is running a load-balance correction routine. Allow the washer to continue. If the dial is flashing and the washer has stopped, redistribute the load, close the lid, and press START/PAUSE.
If this does not fix this problem then your suspension rods PS3502193 might be faulty and possibly need to be replaced. We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime.

When lid is open I find water dripping into basket from the rear top where
water normally comes from to fill basket. I feel with my hand back there
its a spray and must be a valve etc. Does that item need repair or replacement I find after wash is finished the next day I find small amount of water in basket must be from the part does it have a kit like a washer that need to be replaced if so can you show me parts needs to be purchased.
For model number MVWB750YW0
Hello Barry, Thank you for your inquiry. Researching the model number that you have provided, this usually indicates an issue with the water inlet valve. Check the valve for any visible damage, and you can test it with a multimeter to see if it is working. If you are unfamiliar with how a multimeter functions, we have videos available to assist you. We hope this helps.

Scratches in Surface
This product comes in a bottle with a brush like Liquid Paper. It goes on incredibly easy. A second coat might be needed. I wanted to prevent rust from setting in so I covered the scratches and dings. The paint is a little brighter since my washer is 10 years old but it still looks great.
