Dishwasher would not work
My wife was visiting her parents in Ecuador and she relayed back to me that their dishwasher was inoperative. She explained the situation and I researched the problem with Parts Select. The solution was simple, since Parts Select had an array of extremely helpful step by step repair instructions. I sent her the link, ordered the door switches, and she did the repair by viewing the video. It was an outstanding, effortless experience! Thanks to Parts Select, not only was the parts inexpensive, but instruction videos are to the tee!

Silverware Basket Replacement
This company is a keeper !!! Fast, perfect service !! The part was different than what I had, but, it was better !!!! No kidding, it was far sturdier than the lousy basket that was originally with the dishwasher. . . . . This basket also can be split into 2 smaller baskets and relocated to other areas of the dishwasher, as well as having removable "lids" to keep flyaway things in place. . . . . . I was so pleasantly surprised at this great service, great product and great price. . . . . . For once, something was totally 100% hassle free !! :))))) One very happy customer here !!! This store is in my "favorites" stash!

Silverware basket was falling apart.
This is almost a joke. It took 5 seconds to remove the old silverware basket by lifting it from the bottom Rack. Then I spent another 5 seconds to lower the new basket onto the lower rack of the dishwasher. I was a little miffed because the new basket did not match the photo on the Parts Select website, which photo seemed to match the old basket exactly. However it fits, and the wife likes the design of new one better than the old one.

Dishwasher leaking at bottom of door.
I followed the video provided with the Order Acknowledgement. Very Very simple and easy to do. This is without a doubt the best company I have ever dealt with online. Prompt, quick delivery and very professional. The only mistake I made was not ordering the O ring for the soap dispenser. I am in the process of ordering that right now. This is the go 2 place for appliance repairs for sure. You won't be disappointed in any way.

Water holes corroded shut
Whatever you do, don't call a repairman to do this simple replacement task. 1. Remove the lower basket. 2. Locate the round knurled nut holding the spray bar on. (use gloves or a channel lock pliers if it's corroded on) Lift off the spray bar. noting the 'flats' on the bottom of the spray bar. If the knurled nut has lots of corrosion, put it in a container of vinegar for a couple hours. Use screwdriver to remove the metal plates on the ends of the spray bar and install in new one. Then install new one in reverse order. A real piece of cake.

The gasket is press fit in a channel around the door
Orient the gasket so that the more squishable hollow side of the gasket faces the door, and check that the length is sufficient to fill ths entire channel. The less compressible side goes into the channel, which requires some skill and strength to seat well. The flat portion of the more or less square gasket has two edges to it. What works best is to put the edge that is toward the inside of the dishwasher into the channel with your fingers, and then press in the other edge firmly with the small spatula of about 2 or 2and 1/2 inches until you can no longer see that edge. This is the visual indication it is seated. in the corners you may only be able to use a corner of the spatula.
