Turned power off at the breaker. Opened the inside skin of the door by removing torx screws. Broken handle came right out. Released power supply clamps from old switch and removed wiring harness. Replaced Door Latch
I opend the door and viewed how the latch was positioned and secured. All the SM screws along the door seal had to be removed. This unsecured the inside door skin and revealed the old latch. No additional fasteners needed to be removed.

Wires were secured with a snap-on type pole system. It took some strength to pull them off. However, I was sure to place each on the same pole of the new latch.

The new latch went into its place and was auto-centered correctly on the door fixture designed for the part. Skin was resecured ... good to go!

Maytag Dishwasher Handle Broke
I shut off the power to the unit, then removed the torque screws (be sure to remember which screw went in each hole -- the screws are different lengths).

I unplugged the two electrical connections from the broken handle, then re-plugged them into the new handle. I put the two pieces together, then re-inserted the screws, turned on the power, then done. Pretty easy!

Replace broken silverware basket
The only tricky part was taking the carrying handle off the broken basket and installing it on the new basket. The handle has three alternating hooks (two on one side and one on the other) that snap into slots in the center partition of the basket. I used three butter knives to push out the hooks from the slots so that I could remove the carrying handle. Once removed, the carrying handle snapped into place on the new basket fairly easily.

Plastic door handle broke
Very easy to do...... I guarantee it takes less than 10 minutes. This was easy to repair yourself and I'm a girl .

1. I read the reviews on Parts select and decided it must be easy.
2. Part arrived very fast.
3. Turned off circuit breaker for kitchen appliances.
4. Open door and keep flat on floor. Remove the hex nuts with an electric drill with proper attachment.
5. Lift the compartment and have someone hold the top part up, while the other person disconnects the broken piece. It has two side plug like attachment that need to be released.
6. Attach the new part and make sure the two side pieces are latched back.
7. Close the top part down on the front and then screw back in the hexnuts.
8. Put the door back into normal closed position and latch will be like new!

Upper rack wheel was broken
Four screws were removed and new parts were installed. The only problem was that two types of rack adjusters exist. If your dishwasher does not have a lever, part number PS2100470, then the new rack adjuster either left or right side will not work without part numbers PS2100470(lever) and PS2100308(cover). Be sure to order parts for both sides since the original plastic wheel supports have been replaced with steel.
