Original balance kit failed
Removed two screws that hold the dishwasher in place with screwdriver. Pulled dishwasher out, connected balance kit to hook on door, ran cable through pulley system, hooked cable to one end of spring, and used pliers to stretch spring to hook it in its hole. Slide dishwasher back into position and replaced the two screws.

Loud noise from motor
I unfortunatly removed the whole base assembly to replace this motor. I wasn't sure what the original cause was. After watching your video I would have followed it and it would have been easier. All went well with not leaks and now we can sleep with the dishwasher on. Thanks

Screeching noise when running the dishwasher
Removed the dishwasher from under the counter, disconnected the copper water tubing, placed it upside down, removed the old pump and replaced with new. The only iffy situation is making sure the copper tubing doesn't kink when removing the dishwasher and putting it back into the cabinet. Very simple, my husband can fix anything. Your video was very helpful as well.

Door balance ropes broke
I was only able to get the dishwasher partially out from under the counter. I had to reconnect the springs using a big screw driver. I then attached the door portion of the cable to the door and pulled the spring back to connect it. It went OK. I found your video valuable because I knew what I was dealing with and was able to come up with a solution for not pulling the washer completely out

Door would not stay open unless completely in the full open position.
Door balance kit was very easy to repair. Washer was installed incorrectly with water service run through the units frame. Once this issue was addressed, ordering and installation was a piece of cake.

detergent laying at the bottom, not fully dissolved
Removed screws around the door, unplugged the solenoid, lifted the tabs on the dispenser and removed the dispenser. Installed the new dispenser, plugged the solenoid back in and reistalled the door screws. ran the dishwasher and the same issue still happened. I removed the water fill valve, I cleaned the inlet screen and exercised the plunger. I hooked up the water supply to it and gave it a 120v supply power to it. I don't recommend to the average homeowner to do what I did, I am an experience tech. The water valve worked everytime I applied power to it, I reinstalled the water valve but I haven't ran the dishwasher yet. If the problem continues, then it must be the electronics. It will be cheaper to replace the diswasher due to it being 8 yers old.

The upper arm spinner kept falling off
The old spinner arm had fallen off so all I did was remove the piece that held the old spinner in place and clipped the new one in place. The shame of it all is, the old spinner was fine, and even the female end of the attachment piece was fine. So basically I had to buy a $20 'assembly' to get one little piece of plastic. Still, it fixed my problem and even though I shopped elsewhere, I never found anything but the assembly for sale. All-in-all, a good experience from PartSelect.

Replace the door balance mechanisms
Just followed the video. Seemed simple enough but the bolt location was different so had to watch the video again paying specific attention to the part where he tells you to use the old bolts to replace the new pulley system. The new pulley system already has a bolt in the top pulley. You will need to old bolt through the bottom pulley. Works great - for now.
