Upper arm continued to "fall" off
These guys were GREAT!!! Called and the individual immediately was able to identify the part number and indicated they had the kit in stock. The parts were shipped that day and arrived three days later. Didn't take long to put the new arm on and was up and running. I'll definitely use them in the future.

Dispenser Didn't Dispense
Took off front door panel, unscrewed old unit. Installed new unit. Hooked up wires. Replaced front door panel. Reinstalling the front door panel was the most time consuming. It has to slide in a certain way. Also, I thought the dispenser wasn't sitting properly, so I took the whole thing apart again, but it is supposed to sit at a slight angle. I basically did the job twice in a half hour.

Handle broke, wouldn't latch, can't run dishwasher
Important: To make sure you've turned off the correct circuit breaker, press the Cancel button on the dishwasher. The green light will go on (even if it's not latched) until you cut the power. See Steve's video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oLZ-7Py_hFQ . This model is similar but not identical: (1) You only have to remove the top 6 Torx screws to remove the control panel. No need to remove the door. (2) There's one, not two, switches in the latch assembly. There's no need to remove the wires from the switch; just unscrew the switch with a small nutdriver... or needlenose pliers like I did. I did unplug the wires from the control panel located to the right of the latch assembly. Remove the latch assembly, remove the spring (needlenose pliers again), and replace the handle. Reassemble everything in reverse order and you're done. As another commenter recommended, I purchased and installed a second spring to balance the pressure on the handle on the other side of the existing spring. You'll see another hook in the *center* of the latch assembly that would appear to be for another spring, but it works fine without using it.

Dishes were not getting clean or intermittently getting clean
Well after trouble shooting several components , the fill valve, the check valve , the pump motor all it turned out to be is the supply line to the dishwasher. I had installed one of those lines with an anti flood check valve in the line. Thinking it was a smart idea so if I were not home it would keep from flooding my basement etc. even when you remove the line and run it into a bucket you still get flow. But unknown to myself a majority of your appliances do not work well with these lines because when the solenoid opens it causes a surge and the check valve tries to restrict the flow. After soapy of these surges the valve sticks . When I replaced the line with a standard supply line it solved the problem. So for about $15.00 you could save yourself a lot of headaches and money by replacing that first. I'm not saying it will be the solution but start there first even if your getting water flow through that line. By the way the manufacturer of those lines at least the one I bought less than 5 montages ago do not mention that on their package and by the time you come to that conclusion you may have spent a lot of money trying to fix your machine. I had three techs that couldn't figure it out. Also the machine I have is a kitchen aid but its a common problem on a lot of brands including washing machines for clothes.

machine stopped
I went according to the video. even though it would have been easier to just plug in the new fuse, I cut and replaced the wire clips, as I figured there was some resistance in the replacement wire to keep the fuse from blowing again.

The plastic front end piece of the door balance kit broke
The dishwasher had to be pulled from under the countertop and the face at the base of the dishwasher required removal. The new piece was attached to the door spring, routed through the wheels and attached to the front attach point of the dishwasher. The face was reinstalled and unit was pushed back to under the countertop.

Link Cord From Door To Hidge Was Broken
There were actually slots cut in the side to place a screw driver to strentch the spring to attach it to the cord and plastic end. But the spring would not stretch far enough so took the intiative and drilled another hole to place screw driver and pry the spring far enough to attach the replacement piece. After that it was done. Fairly easy as you have the other side of the appliance to look at and can tell how the hidge on the side that needed repair should go. Very very easy after hole was drilled in frame.

The rubber gasket around the tub of the dishwasher had a couple of breaks in it due to catching it in the door when it came loose...it stuck to the door when we opened the door.
I removed the old gasket, cleaned the gunk out of the track with a hand-held steamer and a paper towel, and installed the new gasket in the track. I used a screwdriver in a few spots to make sure that it was inserted correctly...easy as pie!

I had not needed to install the mounting brackets that came with the dishwasher because the old counter top was 1 inch lower than standard and I was able to just wedge the dishwasher into the space and it would not tip.
I simply disconnected the power line to the dishwasher and pulled it out enough to install the mounting brackets. The installation manual that came with the dishwasher described how to install the brackets and I simply followed directions.
